It was a full story with a lot of action for such a short book. She thought she was saving a young man, but instead interrupted a ritual by some of the most powerful witches. Bones convinced her to take her first girl’s weekend, but she is a magnet for trouble. Cat was wound tightly and in need of a vacation away from her new role as a mother. This novella was not short on that excitement. It is so fantastic being back in this world again! Every time I visit I’m reminded how much I love it and miss the excitement this series brought. Bones isn’t in this one a lot, but I still loved it.
A Grave Girls’ Getaway is a quick weekend away with Cat Crawford and her best friend Denise. So I will take any scraps of Cat and Bones I can, even if it’s a short novella. The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost is my favorite paranormal series by a landslide, in fact, it may be my favorite book series in general.
